The Danmodi Students’ Care has been making a significant impact in the lives of students in Sule Tankarkar Local Government Area of Jigawa State. The organization has been providing various forms of support to students, including scholarship awards, education support, and individual scholarships.
In 2024, Danmodi Students’ Care provided 220 free JAMB pins to candidates, while in 2025, the organization increased the number to 315. This initiative has helped to boost the confidence of students and enabled them to pursue their dreams. Additionally, the organization awarded financial assistance to Master’s and PhD students, with two Master’s students receiving N50,000 each in 2024 and three Master’s students and one PhD student receiving N50,000 each in 2025.
The students care has also implemented the “Women for Health” scholarship program, which is aimed at empowering female students in the healthcare sector. Twelve female students from Jigawa State schools of Nursing and College of Health Science and Technology Jahun benefited from the program, receiving N50,000 each in 2025.
It has also been providing education support to students in Sule Tankarkar Local Government Area. The organization secured admission for over 36 students from the local government area in various universities in Nigeria during the 2024/2025 academic session. Furthermore, the organization distributed 1000 school uniforms and learning materials to reintegrate dropout school children.
In an effort to ease transportation challenges faced by students, Danmodi Students’ Care provided bicycles to junior and senior secondary students in Sule Tankarkar Local Government Area.
The organization has also been facilitating individual scholarships for students in Sule Tankarkar Local Government Area. Over 13 students have benefited from these scholarships, which have helped to reduce the financial burden on students and their families.
Amb. Muhammad Salisu Seeker, SSA on Students’ Affairs to the Jigawa State Governor, said, “We are committed to empowering students in Sule Tankarkar Local Government Area and beyond. We believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth, and we will continue to support them in any way we can.”
The efforts of Danmodi Students’ Care have been widely appreciated by students, parents, and the community at large. The organization’s commitment to education and youth development is a testament to its dedication to making a positive impact in society
