The Jigawa State Executive Council, led by Governor Umar A. Namadi, has approved four key projects worth over N1 billion, aimed at driving development and improving the lives of citizens.
According to the Commissioner of Information, Hon. Sagir Musa Ahmed, the projects include the renovation and upgrading of two houses in G9 Quarters, Dutse, construction of 52 housing units, variation of construction works for the New School of Nursing and Midwifery, Babura, and the development of the Alfalfa Value Chain project worth over $400 million.
The Alfalfa project is expected to generate over 100,000 direct jobs and 500,000 indirect jobs, boosting agricultural productivity and enhancing the livestock and dairy sectors.

The council’s approval of these projects demonstrates the government’s commitment to driving development and improving the lives of Jigawa citizens.
