The “30‑30 Experience” football tournament kicked off with a vibrant atmosphere at Iddo Sarki Football Field on Thursday, 13th November 2025. Themed “Celebrating 30 Years of God’s Help in Faith and Career”, the event brought together church congregants, community members, and football enthusiasts to honor three decades of divine guidance and professional dedication.
The opening prayer was delivered by the Pastor of the Redeemed Church Iddo, setting a tone of gratitude and spiritual focus for the evening.

Mrs. Grace Masi, Convener of the tournament, delivered a heartfelt opening speech, highlighting the significance of the 30‑year milestone. She remarked: “This tournament is a celebration of God’s faithfulness over our lives, families, and careers for three decades. It is a moment to give thanks for His unending help and to seek His continued guidance as we stride into the future.”

Goodwill messages followed from co‑conveners and invited guests, each emphasizing the importance of faith in personal and professional growth.
The Special Guest of Honour, Pastor Emmanuel Danladi of Family Worship Centre Gwagwalwada, officially declared the tournament open. In his address, Pastor Danladi blessed the event, urging participants to conduct themselves with sportsmanship and gratitude.

“May this tournament be a platform for fellowship, encouragement, and the glorification of God’s name,” he declared.
The MC led an energetic team parade, introducing the participating squads. Each team proudly displayed their colors, showcasing the unity and camaraderie that the tournament seeks to promote.

After the presentation of the Jesse (tournament trophy) to the teams and referees, the Head Referee administered the Referee’s Oath, while team captains took the Team Oath. The official opening match commenced at 5:00 PM, with the first whistle blowing at 5:57 PM, signaling the start of the highly anticipated first match.
The tournament promises to be a memorable blend of sports, worship, and community spirit as Mrs. Grace Masi celebrate her 30 years of God’s help in both faith and career.
Finally the Cocin Yofel fc team won in the panel panelty period in die minutes. While Lestar foot ball academy lost the day’s match at the die seconds.
