The Birnin Kudu Old Boys Association (BIKOBA Class of 2000) celebrated its 25th‑year anniversary with a two‑day event on November 22‑23, 2025, blending nostalgia and inspiration at their alma mater.
The highlight was a “Young Farmers Group Learning Skills for Self‑Reliance” workshop held at the school’s conference hall on Saturday, November 22.
Chairman of the association class 2000, Pharmasist Inuwa Bello opened the program, emphasizing education and perseverance. He said, “It is with great pride and gratitude that we stand before you as we commemorate 25 years of the BIKOBA Class 2000.

Bello said “Our aim today is to guide, motivate, and support the students with knowledge and experience that will help them make informed decisions for a successful future.” He also urged students to “avoid drug abuse as it destroys futures and leads to death at a young age.”
Former teachers contributed to the agenda: Malam Auwal Yusuf delivered a session on career guidance, while Malam Habib Umar encouraged pupils to continue their studies after SSCE exams.
The association highlighted several milestones, including: Creation of a Young Farmers Group to empower students with agricultural skills, Printing a class photo album, Support for families of deceased members, Establishment of local government coordination structures.
Alhaji Muhammad Ibrahim, former vice‑principal now representing the school management, congratulated the class on their successes and advised current students to “emulate the gesture, read, further their education, and remember that hard work is the best plan for the future.”
The weekend also featured a heartfelt homecoming. Alumni from both Arts and Science streams shared stories of their journeys, toured their former classrooms and hostels, and reminisced about their school days calling it “stepping back in time.”
The gathering reinforced their bond, with attendees noting, “It was more than a social event; it was a powerful reminder of the lasting friendships forged here.”
The celebration closed with group photos, prayers, and a renewed pledge to support their alma mater and mentor the next generation.
The BIKOBA Class of 2000 left with tighter connections, a stronger sense of community, and excitement for future collaborations.
