Residents of Farindutse town in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State have expressed deep appreciation to the State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi Danmodi, for the ongoing electricity project currently being executed in the area.
Speaking on behalf of the people of Farindutse, community representative, Yushau Chiroma, described the power project as a landmark intervention that will significantly improve the living conditions of residents and stimulate socio-economic development across the community and its environs.
According to him, the Farindutse power project, which is designed to generate 10 megawatts of electricity, will address the long-standing power challenge in the area, which has persisted for over 13 years without stable electricity supply.
“This project will bring a major transformation to Farindutse and neighboring communities. For more than a decade, our people have suffered from lack of electricity. This intervention by the present administration is timely and highly commendable,” he said.

He added that the project is being executed with high standards and quality, revealing that work has reached an advanced stage and is nearing completion.
The Farindutse community also offered prayers for the success of the project and for Governor Umar Namadi Danmodi, as well as all officials and stakeholders involved in ensuring its successful execution.
“We pray Almighty Allah grants success to this project and continues to guide the Governor and all those contributing to this life-changing initiative,” Chiroma said.
