The Jigawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on its members to remain united and committed to sustaining the developmental strides of Governor Umar Namadi as preparations gradually build toward the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a press briefing in Hadejia, the North East Zonal Vice Chairman of the party, Muhammad Dikuma Umar, emphasized the need for party members to uphold credibility, transparency, and accountability in governance across all levels.
He commended the administration of Governor Namadi, noting that the government has implemented numerous impactful projects that should be preserved for the benefit of future generations.
According to him, the successful conduct of the party’s recent ward, local government, and state congresses was a result of timely decisions and strategic foresight by party leaders.
Dikuma Umar urged party faithful to set aside their differences and work collectively as a united family to ensure continued success for the APC, particularly as the 2027 elections approach.
“The 12-point agenda remains the foundation for greater achievements, supported by a team of competent and dedicated individuals,” he said.
He also cautioned members against making contradictory public statements, advising them to verify facts before speaking, while stressing that politics should serve as a platform for meaningful contributions to society rather than personal gain.
The APC chieftain further called on aggrieved individuals and groups to focus on genuine issues to promote unity, noting that such an approach would strengthen mutual trust and create more opportunities for growth and development in the state.
He congratulated Muslims in Jigawa State and beyond on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, praying for continued peace, guidance, and prosperity.
