The Jigawa State Government extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, Kayardan Dutse, on his recent election as Chairman of the APC Progressive Speakers forum. This notable achievement occurred during the annual congress held in Abuja, where he was elected to lead the umbrella body of Speakers from State Houses of Assembly controlled All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
The statement said, the election of Rt. Hon. Dangyatun is a testament to his exemplary leadership qualities, legislative experience, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC. As the party prepares for critical political engagements, including the upcoming 2027 general elections, it is believed that his leadership will foster greater collaboration among APC lawmakers nationwide and significantly contribute to the consolidation of democratic values in Nigeria.
“The Jigawa State Government, under the leadership of Governor Malam Umar Namadi, expresses confidence that Speaker Dangyatin will utilize his vast experience and dedication to enhance party unity and further the development of our state” the statement said.
