In the letter, he said his decision followed wide consultations with his family members, relatives, supporters and well-wishers. 

The State Cold Chain Officer of the agency, Mr Yusuf Inuwa, said the noodles were originally supplied by WHO to support the National Immunisation Plus Days (NIPDs) campaign scheduled to commence on Nov. 26.

Areas covered during the sanitation exercise included markets, major streets, drainages and culverts, the local government secretariat, motor parks, hospitals and other sensitive locations.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held in Dutse, Governor Namadi disclosed that the 2026 budget for the Jigawa State Government stands at N901.84 billion, while the consolidated budget of the 27 local government councils amounts to N288.85 billion.

Speaking on the initiative, the Jigawa State Sector Commander of the Corps, Umar Masa’udu Matazu, said the command had deployed robust operational strategies to guarantee free flow of traffic and reduce road traffic crashes on highways and major roads across the state.

Speaking during a briefing in Dutse, the Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Professor Haruna Musa, said the exercise was designed to ensure transparency, competence and professionalism, in line with the vision of Governor Malam Umar Namadi to transform basic education in the state.
