Renowned good governance advocate and public affairs commentator, Comrade Ali Ringim, has called on the people of Jigawa Central Senatorial Zone to remain steadfast in their support for Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakar, describing her as “a golden leader among millions” and a woman of exceptional character, integrity, and vision.
Speaking in a media dialogue in Dutse, Comrade Ringim praised Dr. Halima’s commitment to justice, fairness, community development, and humanitarian service. He noted that throughout her public engagements and professional career, she has consistently demonstrated leadership qualities that distinguish her from many of her contemporaries.
According to him, Dr. Halima has become a symbol of hope for women, youths, and vulnerable members of society through her advocacy for education, healthcare, social welfare, and economic empowerment.
“Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakar is a rare gem. She stands for justice, truth, and the progress of our people. Her dedication to serving humanity and uplifting communities has earned her the respect and admiration of many across Jigawa State and beyond,” Comrade Ringim said.
Drawing comparisons with globally respected female leaders such as Margaret Thatcher and Indira Gandhi, Ringim emphasized the importance of supporting capable women who possess the vision and courage to lead.
He further encouraged youths to embrace good moral values, discipline, education, and hard work, stressing that the future of society depends largely on the character and conduct of its younger generation.
“The youth are the foundation of tomorrow’s leadership. Those who pursue knowledge, maintain good character, and contribute positively to society are the ones who will shape a better future for our nation,” he stated.
Comrade Ringim also highlighted the need for government and community leaders to prioritize policies that improve healthcare services, provide food security, and create economic opportunities for ordinary citizens.
Expressing optimism about Dr. Halima’s political future, he said her aspirations should not be judged by temporary setbacks, noting that leadership opportunities often come with patience and perseverance.
“Four years is not forty years. Leadership is a journey. What matters most is maintaining focus, commitment, and faith in Allah. With continued support from the people, Dr. Halima’s vision for a better Jigawa can become a reality,” he added.
The good governance advocate concluded by urging residents of Jigawa Central Senatorial District to remain united and continue supporting leaders who demonstrate honesty, competence, and a genuine commitment to public service.
